last time cotto went into the ring pissed-off was vs quintana. He was the underdog and a lot of people wrote him off based on what they've seen before from both guys...

I'd slightly favor Floyd over Cotto, but I also wouldn't be bug eyed if he lost. Cotto doesnt get credit for the subtle but effective things he does in the ring.
You know... there is one thing about Cotto/Floyd fight... And that is the thing that Floyd probably knows very well... Afterall he may be everything except an idiot... He was reported to have rib injuries... If the fight happens i can see him outworking Cotto easily for a while, but at some stage... Floyd is used to stay on the ropes sometimes... He can do it against a puncher - shoulder-roll the incoming missiles... But with Cotto it would be different... Mayweather`s injured ribs do not belong within the same sentence with the best body-puncher of recent years!

My pick would be Cotto by Ko after severe body assault while trailing on the scorecards...

there was a good number of analysts and experts that didn't think cotto could win that fight based on how great and dominant quintana looked vs joel julio and also this was cotto's first fight in WW. he struggled vs malignaggi, branco and torres and like I said, a LOT of people wrote him off and got into something more than what he could handle...it all seems kinda familiar don't it?

Pac is still world champ at JWW. If he loses, go back to 140 and whoop whoever gets put in front of him.

Cotto got one yr left in boxing, its either Floyd, which I get the feeling will never happen because of Arum excuse or Mosley/Margo rematch.

this is something i've thought about for a long time. First, May doesn't have the power nor the activity(aggressiveness) to keep Cotto back. Second his style implies that he will stay in the ropes and pop shot u while u go for his head. Well what would happen when cotto backs him up to the ropes(and he will) and switch lefty and get him to the lower body?
