It really really really gets on my nerves how after a win a guy was expected to win anyway, so many people put the guys stocks up so so much that he's suddenly the best out there.

It happened with Froch, for ages everyone said he wasn't much of anything, suddenly he gets a lucky KO against an old name prone to KO's late, and he's the best fighter in the world.

Guys, Hopkins may not have fought recently but he's still leaps and bounds better than Dawson. He also still beats Dawson in my eyes. Dawson is young, athletic, technically sound. But he is far from great, which the likes of RJJ and Calzaghe was, and Hopkins still is.

Dawson is a terrible matchup for Hopkins. I would favor Dawson in that fight.
