Paul Williams lacks power like Chad, and he's still an action fighter.

I am actually not one of these guys calling Dawson a ***** and a runner like some of the real venomous haters on this forum are. I'm just pointing out why he is getting some flack from people who can't stand him.
dawson doesn't have that stamina to do what pwill does.

I don't hate the guy like some people do. Trust me. There are a lot of people that are saying meaner things about him than I am. What I'm doing with this thread is trying to get in their head and figure out why they think Chad Dawson is a boring fighter.

That because you are comparing a pure boxer/puncher to a natural volume punching boxer. Two completely different styles. Williams is an action fighter because he of his busy style. Dawson on the other hand, thinks more tactical ( and gets hit less). Both are two of my favorite fighters though.

Paul Williams is a dude who deserves a fan base. It's harsh to say that any fighter doesn't. But Chad doesn't fight like he wants one.

Paul Williams is just better than Chad Dawson. He's more exciting, has a better chin, better stamina, can fight hard for 12 rounds without losing focus, throws more punches, more creative. Dawson, I love the guy, but he is somewhat of a boring, inconsistent fighter.

Chad would collapse from exhaustion if he tried to fight with P. Will's workrate...and Dawson puts more on his punches he just aint a big hitter...

In what weightclass do you see Dawson-Williams fight as 50-50?

It would have to be at 168. I don't know how competitive it would be at 175, because Williams hasn't fought any higher than Middleweight. I'm just saying like someone did above, that Dawson is not this super fighter that people make him out to be and he's beatable. He just needs to get in there with an opponent that can threaten him.

                      Pointless comparison.

Williams- Volume puncher who's defense is his offense and he's got a great chin.

Dawson- Way more efficient, and can be hurt, so he's gotta fight way differently.

Dawson, P4P has more power than Williams IMO. And I think Williams would be stopped by Dawson.
