Paul Williams lacks power like Chad, and he's still an action fighter.

I don't hate the guy like some people do. Trust me. There are a lot of people that are saying meaner things about him than I am. What I'm doing with this thread is trying to get in their head and figure out why they think Chad Dawson is a boring fighter.Comment

People think that Chad is getting hated on just because he is a pure boxer who looks to score points. Antonio Margarito had Williams in a more shaky position than Johnson did against Dawson in the second fight, and he still won the 12th round and didn't fight like a jack rabbit. Dawson needs to take notes. Williams is an accumulative puncher and not a one punch KO artist similar to Chad, and he still puts exclamation points on his wins unlike Dawson does.
I am actually not one of these guys calling Dawson a ***** and a runner like some of the real venomous haters on this forum are. I'm just pointing out why he is getting some flack from people who can't stand him.Comment

Paul Williams is just better than Chad Dawson. He's more exciting, has a better chin, better stamina, can fight hard for 12 rounds without losing focus, throws more punches, more creative. Dawson, I love the guy, but he is somewhat of a boring, inconsistent fighter.Comment

It would have to be at 168. I don't know how competitive it would be at 175, because Williams hasn't fought any higher than Middleweight. I'm just saying like someone did above, that Dawson is not this super fighter that people make him out to be and he's beatable. He just needs to get in there with an opponent that can threaten him.Comment

Pointless comparison.
Williams- Volume puncher who's defense is his offense and he's got a great chin.
Dawson- Way more efficient, and can be hurt, so he's gotta fight way differently.
Dawson, P4P has more power than Williams IMO. And I think Williams would be stopped by Dawson.Comment
