As with the K2 deal the contract Haye has signed with Sauerland Events gives the German promotional group a three fight option over the British challenger should he win.

He obviously wanted nothing to do with Vitali and cherrypicked the much much easier Valuev.

I said this awhile back.

Really Haye had no choice but to fight Valuev because it gave him the built in excuse to avoid the Klitschkos for at least a year and a half without being called a coward for blatantly dodging them.

If he had just beaten anyone else and not gotten himself into a mess with the WBA mandatory and Sauerland than everyone would be calling for him to fight Vitali after the Johnson fight.

Now Haye can hide behind all this camo and collect paychecks for fighting mediocre opposition.
