One on one I think Barrera will always get the better of Morales but comparing records I say Morales has the edge.

Anyway, as for the question, I consider Morales the best of his generation too. 3 controversial, extremely close bouts with Barrera doesnt make Barrera the better of the two, IMO. It's hard to go by the 2 out of 3 wins Barrera got when the first two times the judges got it assbackwards.
