Valuev won the fight because Haye didn't do anything for 95% of the time.

Valuev didn't land ANYTHING of note other than a good left hook in the 7th (around there)

Haye was making him miss and even though he wasn't throwing much he was making it count and landed the harder more effective punches. Valuev throwing 40 jabs a round and landing none doesn't mean he won.
