It may well be a double standard father, but it's foolish to expect his fans to boo him.

Direll was a good deal more negative than Haye who attepted to counter and used movement to avoid being hit and to be able to land effectively. Direll held, cheated and complained for the entire fight.

The sad fact of the matter is that Haye executed his gamelan and had the best fight he could against Valuev, while Direll showed in some of the later rounds he could have absolutely hammered Froch and probably stopped him but he chose not to because he was playing it safe.

find me one single pacquiao fight which was as boring as the haye-valuev fight or the froch-dirrell fight...not gonna happen...

sure, theye both decent fighters...they both have had some watchable moments as fighters...but the hype far surpasses the reality with both guys...that's why its hard to get behind these guys as much as fans do in the UK...

its a phenomenon that only seems to exist in british boxing...sure, there are american fighters that get overhyped...but nowhere near the level in the UK, IMO...
