I'm sorry, but i had Haye ahead. Did not think it was a robbery. Valuev had a couple of moments where he cornered Haye, but for the most part he wasn't connecting with anything. the only man connecting with clean shots was Haye. too few and too far in between, nevertheless he scored. good defensive fight by Haye, yet he spent quite of bit of time trying to set things up, letting a few rounds get away from him. When neither fighter is landing, Valuev is the one coming forward, and engaging. I though most of Valuev's shots missed, are were picked off. It was Haye's lack of offense throught the fight that fooled many to think Valuev was even in this fight. the giant showed some pressure, but he was much too slow. The height difference was the major problem, as Haye literally needed to punch to sky. wished he would of targeted Valuev's body more. It will be interesting to see Haye in a less vertically challenged match-up, he definitely can knock anyone out.
Hey Elusive, do you like sucking David Haye's sausage or something. I'm sorry but your man sticked and moved, and moved and moved, more like ran but you know what I mean. I'm no Klitchko brother fans but they would have knocked out David Haye out 6 rounds tops. Face it Valuev's jabs weren't there. Any of the Klitchko boys would have tagged Haye when he came in the way he did against Valuev. And it's true, the best athletes in the world picked more lucrative sports than boxing, I hate that I have to admit it but it is TRUE!!!
Valuev was robbed. Haye buzzed him once near the end of the fight and ran the rest of the time. I had Valuev winning 116-114 and that's being generous to Haye. Haye will get knocked out by Ruiz.
Haye will retire Ruiz. Ruiz only looked strong because his opponent was a bum.
hey guys as if haye is gonna stand and trade with valuev who is 7ft 2 and like 23 stone.... whos never been hurt? it wasnt into the 12th round that haye realised that valuev could be hurt, he boxed really well
i had Haye winning by one round...great great news for the Heavies. Based on the power Haye showed i give him a great shot of beating Wladimir. Still dont think Haye can beat Vitali. Get rid of Ruiz and then bring on Wlad. Worried though that Haye may have to give up his title in order to get a better fight after Ruiz...otherwise he'll be stuck in rematches with Valuev, Ruiz, Chagaev, and holyfield forever. WBA twighlight zone
I hope this fight will finally put to rest the myth that it's impossible to get a decision in Germany, even when the judges are all from neutral countries. Two of the judges had it 116-112 to Haye, whereas most analysts had it much closer than that (Boxingscene's Cliff Rold scored it a draw), and a few even had Valuev in the lead. I had Haye winning, but very narrowly.
As long as the judges are from neutral countries, anyone who deserves to win can win in Germany, and this fight proves it.
