A three-time national champion is not a good amateur pedigree?

He had hardly any amateur fights. That's sort of understandable.

Why do you hate Lemieux? He's an exciting fighter who always goes for the KO - what's there to hate about him?
McCrary never won against a good condenter. The same with Hernandez.

I don't hate Lemieux. In fact, he's from my city. I just don't like to over-hype fighters because of their dominance over low opposition. I want to him to fight some good opposition.

Yes, and Pirog and Golovkin are very good.

Be patient. He doing all that could be expected at this point. Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams fought nothing but bums in their first 20 fights, up until they were age 23 or 24.

Jacobs is a very good prospect. I thought Quillin was, also, but he hasn't fought in over a year. I wonder what's up with him.

I hope you're right about him. Pascal is our only champion, right now, and we need some more.

I think all the Lemieux's in Quebec are distantly related, going back to the 17th century French settlers.

I'm not saying he's a world-beater, he may or not become world-class. But he certainly is more exciting to watch than Steve Molitor.
