Who cares? It was over a low quality opponent. That's all he fights.

I care. Keep in mind, he's just age 20.

Lots of boxers are still fighting low quality opposition at age 25 or even age 30.

        Haha...

Usually people don't step up until age 25... if he doesn't have any sort of amateur pedigree, I see 0 problem with him padding his record now to get a feel for what he can/should do in the ring.

It shouldn't be about age. It should be about how many fights he's had. The majority of top level fighters have decent opponents by 19 fights.

You mean top level fighters with extensive amateur pedigrees...

Julio Cesar Chavez's first live opponent was for the vacant WBC 130 title in his 44th fight. Is he not a top level fighter?

It's a combination of age, amateur experience, number of pro fights. His past few opponents like Donny McCrary and Bladimir Hernandez have been mid-level journeymen, not bums.

Why do you hate Lemieux? He's an exciting fighter who always goes for the KO - what's there to hate about him?

Good news, we need a lot of these prospects to come around at the same time though. There's no one for the K bros to fight really, shame we can't transport them back into the 90's.

He is definitely an exciting fighter. He reminds me of the old style John Duddy the way he fights. Defense is not even considered with him!hehe He comes out with both barrels firing.

He is definitely still green but he is young and will get better over time. They are right to move him slowly. For now he does have decent speed and although it is hard to guage his true power due to his competition, his right hand seems to have some good power.
