I cannot predict who will win, but I do think it will end before the 6th round is over. One of them is going to gain big momentum before the 3rd round is over and feed off it big time. It is going to be brutal.

One of them will get reckless and pay a heavy price for it next week. Both guys are going to be keyed up and will try to make an impression early.

i just watched the cotto / clottey fight and im sorry ima huge cotto fan too but he lost that one. theres no way around it he got his ass whip in msg no joke. clottey wll beat pacman. i just think arum sees more money with pacvs cotto. but in a rematch cotto will lose to clottey. clottey was a better fighter all around like manny stewart was saying hes just better. pac vs cotto should be good though cotto seems confident but so was ricky hatton and you seen how that went.

Re: Lets say Pacman vs Cotto 2009
If Pac KOs Hatton and beat DLH, that tells you that Pac can carry his power and Sturdy enough for Cotto. Maybe Arum will be crazy enough to make this fight.

Offence wise Pac can handle Cotto. Pac has longer arms and a much faster guy. Power right now belongs to Cotto but we still have to see the stronger Pac at 135-147. Pac vs Diaz, Hatton/DLH will answer that

Here's my prediction more than a year ago. This was before the DLH fight. Now we knew how Pac 's Power at these higher weights. Cotto's getting a beat down!!!
my prediction is that, you are a fanboy, drink too much kool-aid and Pac is getting ****ed up

i have the fight 6 rounds a piece with cotto wining because of the knock down, i don't know how any one who actually score this fight by rounds doesn't see it the same way

I don't think that JMM or Cotto are one-dimensional when you are talking about their skills. JMM just has more tools at his disposal.

I think that statement is fair.

I wish Cotto used his good jab more. I've noticed lately well since Mosley he hasn't used it much.

                  And it's pretty.

First off, Pac could have dropped DLH had he chosen to. He gave the LEGEND of the sport a brake by not koing him, if people could not see that I don't know what the issue is besides wishful thinking that he could not hurt DLH.

Second, Clottey has very good handspeed and a very slow workrate.

Third, Cotto is bigger than Pac body wise (more mass and a bit taller) but not to the degree that DLH was taller than Pac so he will be able to put more on his punches instead of having to jump in to land.

Fourth, Cotto has a lot of power which is generated by the planting of his feet. Pac's speed and movement should keep Cotto on the move as well limiting his ability to plant. When he does plant his feet, Pac should be able to use his speed to counter Cotto as he winds up for the power shots.

Lastly, if Pac has Cotto in the same position that he had DLH against the ropes and hurt, he won't hesitate to finish the show, believe that. He only saved DLH because he is an icon and probably one of Manny's idols.
