If Haye wins tonight does he become a super star in the UK?

He already is huge on the UK, its whether he becomes a star in the US that is more debateable. I think the Americans will like him, in the absence of a legit US fighter, its gotta be better than watching the Eastern Europeans dominate a washed up division. My two cents anyway.

We yanks would support him but the only reason we wouldnt...
1. We like **** talkers, but usually when they are american **** talkers.
2. Most foreign fighters that we like...try really hard for us to like them because we want them to pretty much suck our ****s.(not saying i do or any other american in this forum just as a whole)
Look at Vitali... after he whipped up on Arreola he kept saying how he was a future champ just not now and kept giving Arreola praise(more than anyone else would of). Now with Johnson he is being really nice with the american opponent because Vitali wants the American money fan base. Hell i like the guy now haha

If haye hates on an american or says some dumb ****...we wont like him. The media mostly though. We hardcore fans can still see talent.

The reason why this fight has got so much publicity is because of Valuev. Its billed as David and Goliath.

Boxing isnt very popular, and he would need a string of big wins to become a star. I wouldnt even say Hatton was a big star. He was a well known boxer, but not a big star in the way british footballers are.
