    Not sure why?

Cotto's resume at WW is about equal to Margarito's. I can see Margarito over Cotto, but don't see how it's crazy to have Cotto over him.

And the only thing of note Mosley has done at WW since '05 is beat Margarito. Williams has beaten Margarito and Quintana(better than Collazo)

Man, I respect your posts a lot, but I'm just curious as to how you have Mosley at 1.

Since 2005 he's beaten Collazo and destroyed Margarito....and that's pretty much it.

Cotto and Margarito's resumes at the weight over the past 5 years are both significantly deeper. So is Williams' IMO.

                  another good list.

i notice the high level of competition in all of those guys resume as well.

practically everyone has fought each other on that list.

You're absolutely right about Cotto. Huge brain fart there. I have Cotto as the #1 welter. But I'd put Shane over Tony. He just beat his a** something awful. Impressive win over Collazo, even Estrada who at one point was a somewhat decent fighter. I think Margarito's secondary wins are better than Shane's but when I factor in what Shane did to him...I just can't.

In all honesty, I think Floyd is on most peoples lists because they recognise his talent but his resume over the last 5 years pales in comparison to the other welterweights on the list.
