though both fighters are being promoted by bob arum, dela hoya said in his blog...... that maybe arum wants manny to win because he agreed to use a bigger ring which definitely will work in favour of pacquaio.

what's your take? does it matter or will it alter the result of the fight?

i see manny winning whatever the size of the ring, whether they fight in 5 foot square meter ring or 20 ft square metre.

This is total bull ****. De La Hoya is full of the biggest amount of **** in boxing, the guy just chats total crap.

The ring size will be 20ft square, exactly as it has been for Vegas fights for many, many years.

And how is Cotto protected? The guy has fought Mosely, Margarito and Clottey! I mean CLOTTEY! The guy is an absolute monster and brings absolutely NOTHING to the table and yet Arum made the fight on Cotto's instruction. Can you imagine someone like Pretty Boy fighting Clottey? LMFAO NO.

Also, I don't buy that Arum deffinitely 'wants' Pac to win... the guy only has 1 or perhaps 2 big fights left after this whereas Cotto could have 4 or 5.

Yes Arum wants Pacquiao to win but it doesn't translate in the Ring size, the ref or anything else. The conditions for the fight are OK for both fighters. DLH is just pissed he couldn't make a fight of this magnitude happen. His time will come, he can still make Mosley VS Pac-Cotto winner or Mosley-Mayweather happen, he's a very smart businessman.

Arum the snake, made it so that the only way Cotto would make his career high payday with Manny - was to also extend\renew his contract as a stipulation. Arum also knows that Manny is the bigger cash cow and what Manny want's, he gets ..... PERIOD.

In any case, the ring size makes no difference - If someone's getting their ass kicked, they're getting it kicked.

I do agree that Arum would rather Manny were victorious and it's been pretty clear since the fight was first rumoured.

Don't know why Cotto lingers to be perfectly honest; I was sure he was gonna leave Top Rank a couple months ago and then he signed a new contract out of nowhere. I guess money talks.
