Nobody should even mention Jones alongside Hopkins. Jones is/was by far the superior fighter, and dealt with Hopkins easily in 1993. Hopkins is a good fighter, probably level with Calzaghe, but nowhere near RJJ.

Roy Jones was one of the most talented fighters ever, but he avoided the best fighters in every division he fought in. FACT

B-Hop wasn't the best at middleweight at the time Jones fought him, Hopkins hadn't won a title at that time.

yea your right, the 24 consecutive wins at middleweight after jones, after dominating the division and fighting everyone in it sure proved that he was'nt the best at the weight

i know your sayin ''aww! but he was'nt at that very SECOND!!!!! )
but it's not like bhop lost any fights after it
and wait, was'nt hopkins already the rings number 1 ranked middleweight at the time?

So because he didn't lose for 24 fights after, B-Hop was at his best? Well he didn't lose for 22 fights after Mitchell beat him so he must have been at his best then?

Jones ducked the rematch with Hopkins.

Jones somehow managed to avoid all the best fighters around his weight. That's no coincidence.
