Jones ducked the rematch with Hopkins.

Jones somehow managed to avoid all the best fighters around his weight. That's no coincidence.

    Benn
    Calzaghe
    Michalczewski
    Nunn
    McClellan
    Eubank
    Collins
    collins is a loser
nunn was beat, honestly dont know what heppened, never heard about EITHER of them tryin to get a fight
mcclellan and roy jones were set to fight after he beat benn(and we all know the outcome to that)
    eubank ducked roy jones
    calzaghe ducked roy jones
michalcsewski was happy enough at the other side of the world beating on roy jones leftovers(i mean come on, did you see what jones did to richard hall? did you watch the schooling hall was putting on michal? did you see roy jones completely dominate gonzales? did you see gonzales beat michal?)

and no idiot, i just said, hopkins was the best at the time, because if you want go look and see who was there(nobody), jones and hopkins were literally the best in the division after toney moved up a class

No i don't, all you have done is say the fighters have lost fights and the others ducked him with no proof they did. BIG DEAL

These guys are better fighters than what Roy faced and Roy wasn't calling them out wanting to fight them, he chose to take easy fights against less quality opposition.

was'nt it calzaghe that said ''i dont want to fight him unless im paid the crown ***els'' --- or somethin along those lines?

come on now, this is all well known stuff

eubank said somethin similar but without the crown ***els thing, actually i think he just straight up said ''im afraid of the man, i dont want to fight him''

so, mccellan(tho was a good fighter), eubank, benn, michalweski and collins are now all time greats the like of bernard hopkins and james toney?
damn dude, you should've told me you were slow

You're not getting my point, Roy wasn't looking to fight them, he wasn't trying to take their belts he was happy with fighting less quality fighters for less money.

He was happy with what he had, he didn't want to clear out the divisions he was scared of losing his 0.

i get what your sayin and i agree, but too only an extent, nunn, hopkins, toney, mccallum, none of these guys fought the likes of eubank, collins and benn
                and they are atg's
no suprise jones did'nt fight them

the only facts i have is that calzaghe did'nt want anything to do with jones until he moved up in weight, funny thing hopkins got brave also after jones moved up
and then all of a sudden jones is ducking them because he's either not draining himself to make 160 again or does'nt want to go down to 168 and to top it off go to england
mcclellan and jones were set to fight but he sufferred a brain clot
collins and jones were set to fight until collins pulled out(so said lampley and merchant when talkin about jones opponenents, saying in ''roy jones case the competition has run out on him'')

one person everyone(that knows about boxing) says jones ducked is frankie liles
really i dont know what went on there, never heard/read any talk on a possible match up

                    • Anybody who thinks Jones has a better resume then Hopkins needs to have their head examined.
