For various reasons, I hope it isn't a beatdown. First and foremost, I kinda feel sorry for the way Cotto is being treated by a lot of people right now. There is no doubt in my mnd that he is a great fighter, plus I have a lot of respect for the fact that he takes on all challenges. We need more of this in boxing. I wish every boxer had the kind of attitude that these two great warriors have.

If Pacquiao blows Cotto away, Pacquiao might get less credit than if it was a close war, because some will say Cotto's on the downslide, or the catchweight affected him, and then they'd rant on for the next 15 years about how cruel and evil Freddie Roach is, and how Manny must be taking steroids because it's not possible to be that good, or whatever other **** they can come up with to make themselves feel better.

Obviously I want Manny to win, he's at the top of my list, but a one-sided beatdown may not necessarily be the best thing that could happen. Lastly, if Pacquiao looks amazing, Floyd might ***** out of a fight completely. For Pacquiao, there are a couple of downsides to looking great and blowing your opponent out the water.
