I'm a college wrestler. I weigh 220 lbs. I can beat any pro boxer in a fight.

If the TS said he's rounded out some of his training with chokes, locks, etc i would give him more credit but he didn't so by his own words, he is an extremely limited fighter who is more likely to get knocked out by an uppercut to the face while going for a single leg take-down than to "beat" a pro boxer.
I really wouldn't need any BJJ to be able to defeat a boxer. As a good wrestler (don't mean to toot my own horn) I have the ability
to take the fight wherever I want.

I may attempt to make the transition to MMA when I'm through with college. Wrestling is the best base to start off with so I'd already have the leg up.

Can wrestlers take a punch? What you're suggesting is that by simply ducking and going for takedown you can slip every single punch that comes your way. Do you think you have GSP takedowns or something?

Do boxers train on how to hit guys who are shooting on them? No they don't. Hell even fighters who train to hit guys who are shooting on them have a damn hard time doing it.

While you denigrate boxing I wonder what stand-up you'll be training in--Muay Thai? Kickboxing? Anderson Silva is known for his MT yet he goes to Wild Card gym to practice his boxing--the same boxing that KTFO Forrest Griffin, and I didn't see no stickin' takedown attempt by Griffin so you cannot presume his wrestling helped him.

If you weigh 220 pounds, you SHOULD be able to take out a 144-pound Pacquaio and a 147-pound Mayweather. I am sure you could probably defeat Klitschko, Haye and Valuev....in a wrestling match; but definitely not in a REAL fistfight. I weigh 220 pounds also, and I know for a fact that you couldn't take me in an actual fight regardless of how skilled a wrestler you are.

Then you greatly underestimate what it means to be a trained wrestler.
