The only thing I can think that is similar is that they're both left handed and land a lot (but Pacquaio a lot more!) punches.

168 was a weak division when he was there. and the hopkins fight could hav went either way

No,there not similar, except for punch output!!Pacman punches harder & is much more explosive!!JC is a volume puncher who adapts to styles & then just outworks u!!I think the Punisher & Calzaghe fight closer in styles than Pacman & him!!

your probably right, but he still doesnt seem as ameuturish as pac and calzaghe. that is what i was getting at is they both have ameturish styles and they both were at the top of pound per pound lists. you have to have a good chin and very good stamina to fight like them.

calzaghe hit harder than u think, thats why roy didnt trade more, i know he didnt put much on alot of punches but thats what made him great is he would mix it up with a hard punch now and then, i never seen hopkins grimace like he did from a calzaghe punch before.

but hey at least he fought the people in his division.

                  moved up in weight too.

floyd getting marquez up to that weight was a joke.

i was just jokin about the punch comparison. ive nothin against calzaghe, he fought whoever was available in his division, what he accomplished was great.

calz = slapper who slaps wide slaps

pac = power puncher who throws punches straight up the middle
