        roy can still let his hands go ex. ( the seven hooks he threw against lacy in about a sec.) if he was getting just slapped he would have threw more. even jones said his slaps are harder than they look.

                    Actually, it was only a few days ago when looking back at some old Calzaghe clips when I was thinking he fought with similar kind of intensity to Pacquiao. So while their styles are not similar, they definitely had that same kind of fire and overwhelming intensity.

                    So, nope, not too similar in style, only similar in that they both performed like they really meant it.

                      Pully, I'll take a guess and say he probably wanted his "slaps" to go wide. Watch the Lacy fight if you want to see ****loads of punches right down the middle. Calzaghe could punch as straight as an arrow when he wanted to. The wide "slaps" are there to distract you and keep you from setting anything up, but there are hard shots mixed in with the lighter shots.

                      He can't have been doing too much wrong, otherwise he would have been beaten multiple times.
