Floyd Mayweather Sr.:As for Ricky Hatton, he might have been just scared

“I call a spade a spade and a heart a heart. I can’t see Pacquiao landing any shots which can take Cotto down. Oscar went in there dehydrated, making a weight he had not made in 12 years. As for Ricky Hatton, he might have been just scared. He seemed like he wanted to get knocked out.”

You know Sr. has a point man... Hatton didnt do a damn thing that Sr. had to told him to do in round 1... He founght complety ******... And between round 1 and two in the corner Sr. let Ricky have it verbally urging him to box and move his head... and what did Hatton do? Try to rush in and over power Manny... I could see in the stare down between Haton and Pacquiao that there was something wrong with Hatton, he did in fact seem distracted in that staredown IMO

Ricky Hatton in the Pacman fight just seemed confused. Mayweather sr. tried to change someones style which hatton used to get himself to the top and then when it came time to fight, Hatton just seemed confused he rushed in and tried to box but then tried to brawl at the same time. He just looked amateurish it was weird....now if he wouldve maybe perfected the whole rushing in brawl thing then maybe the outcome wouldve been different...

Hatton wasnt scared but overconfident, He thinks he could just bully Pac around and pac's punches wouldnt do anything to him.
