Kind of agree. But IMO, 130-135 Pbf's skills , where the opposition is good/great , is greater than Ali's.

Ali by far. It is a lot easier to look good against gatti than it is to against Forevan, albiet being semi shot. Ali in his prime was one of the best ever.

Shows the lack of actual boxing knowledge in this forum.

Floyd is as technically sound as it gets. He is 100% economic and precise in everything he does.

Ali was great at thinking on his feet and a great tactician, but his technical skills weren't great. He did lots of things incorrectly, but his tremendous athleticism and speed let him get away with a lot of mistakes in his prime.

Once Ali's speed declined and his legs couldn't bounce non stop for 15 rounds anymore, his great brain and tactical sense came into play more. If Ali wasn't the thinker and tactician he was, he would have never been able to compete after his attributes started to slide. But even with his great thinking, he still took some bad beatings after his gifts declined, mainly because of his lack of really solid technique.

look you asked if mayweather's skills are better than ali's, the answer is no...mayweather has good textbook skills, but it was apparent ali had took the basics to another level...
