John Ruiz: "I Would Rather Fight David Haye Next"

NUREMBERG, Germany – The most interested spectator Saturday in Versicherung Arena for the WBA heavyweight title fight between defending Nikolai “The Russian Giant” Valuev and challenger David “The Haymaker” Haye will be former 2-time WBA title-holder John “The Quietman” Ruiz.

Please do us all a favor and go away John. A part of me wants this guy to get in the ring with one of the Klitchko bros, Tua again, or even Arreola. This guy needs to be knocked off the face of the earth.

I probably have rather sadistic motives but I'd really enjoy seeing Haye fight Ruiz:

                  1. another win for Haye, against an opponent whos been in there with a LOT of guys
                  2. a brutal highlight reel KO
                  3. more experience at HW for Haye
                  4. mandatories force Haye to be more active.

I don't know why anybody would think that John Ruiz will be a pushover for David Haye.

If they are to fight I fully expect Ruiz to clutch, grab, maul and lean all over Haye for 10 rounds before taking out his exhausted opponent in the championship rounds.
