R.A is basically on the same level of guys like Jae Millz, Serious Jones, Necro, Rugged Knowledge etc. Hes a guy who been around A LONG time but hes just never had any breakthrough whatsoever. Most of his appearences are either on someone elses album, or fragmented mixtapes here and there. Hes an underground legend but truthfully hes never been known outside of people who either live in new york or follow the non commcercial rap scene.

What happened with floyd is like what Star used to do to people on his radio show on hot97 basically setting them up for failure.

...I doubt that, if you look back at the original thread, i think was one of the ONLY people who even knew who he was and posted that i liked him as a rapper.

You can be successful in the music industry without major label support though and RA's made a living off his craft longer than some of the people here have even been following Boxing to begin with. The guy tours constantly in Europe (which ironically pays more than the States) and he's able to do the music he wants. How is that a bad thing? Considering none of these artists today are making money off record sales and are now starting to get jerked for their tour money...why would RA NOW try to seek fame? He doesn't need it.
