Margarito took soooo many clean shots that night. He did not want to quit even though he was defenseless, Just image had Shane been using plaster on his monkey ass



Margarito got what he deserved that night IMO and I am glad he was man enough to take his medicine. He should have just pulled out of the fight. He knows he ain't **** with out his plaster of Paris. I guess that is what happens to a person who is full of himself with pride and is hard headed as a mule.

I actually think Margo might have one of the best chins in WW history. I'm not saying it's #1. But it has to be up there.

I think any WW would have went down with less than what AM was able to withstand. AM is a tough dude and can take punishment all night - If he has time to recover. Mosley was just too consistant with his power shots.



IMHO - Cotto softened AM up for Mosley. Cotto put some serious punishment on the guy prior to taking the knee. And no one could have walked away from that fight without having some kind of negative long term effects.

And I'm one who believes that punishment is cumulative from fight to fight.

I don't think it was specifically Cotto it was just Margaritos entire career, taking punishment from Cintron twice who IMO is proberbly the biggest punch at 147-154, Williams, Cotto, Santos, Lewis (briefly), Martinez and eventually the worst beating he ever took against Mosley all of those a world class and they all pack a punch.

I still think Margarito has a granite chin though and would beat guys like Berto, Collazo and he still might be able to beat Cotto.
