is it safe to say that any one of those power bombs from mosley woulda dropped any other welterweight? maybe 2-3 for the tougher ones but yea do you guys agree?

Say what you want about Margarito but he's got a granite chin. I've often wondered how many more times Marg would have gotten up if the ref had not stopped the fight. There is just no quit in the guy.

I actually think Margo might have one of the best chins in WW history. I'm not saying it's #1. But it has to be up there.

I think any WW would have went down with less than what AM was able to withstand. AM is a tough dude and can take punishment all night - If he has time to recover. Mosley was just too consistant with his power shots.

IMHO - Cotto softened AM up for Mosley. Cotto put some serious punishment on the guy prior to taking the knee. And no one could have walked away from that fight without having some kind of negative long term effects.

And I'm one who believes that punishment is cumulative from fight to fight.

The Margarito that turned up to the Cotto fight was unbelieveable. A total machine.

Yes. Mosley threw everything into those left and rights. Honestly I can't imagine Margarito having the same chin after that. Mosley landed with full force over 10 times. Its very rare you see that because either the opponent goes down or learns how to defend himself.

im seriously concerend about margarito's health tho, im pretty sure he suffered some kind of brain damage after taking that many bombs to the head...
plus his fight before that was cotto... and cotto isnt exactly what you would call a light hitter
