I trully believe them... problem is that they are class "C" club fighters and Cotto feels like Ali to them.

ring and make Cotto look like he has never fought in the ring before.
Manny is good but can't imagine Manny beating up on Cotto for the
whole fight without taking punishment of his own. Yes, Cotto has
flaws but so does Manny and his biggest flaw that might lose him
the fight is the fact that he has no solid defensive game plan and
relies too much on his speed when it is known that Cotto is also
displays good speed as we seen with Mosley. This fight can possible
turn out to be not competitive at all. Manny is a very good determined
fighter but the size and experience of Cotto may be a bit too much
for Manny to chew. All in all will see November 14th whud it do.
Sorry to tell you, but what make you think this is the same Cotto that fought Mosley?

so the cotto that pac is fighting is margo's leftovers?

i don't see why any pac fan would try and discredit his possible win over cotto

and if he loses, he lost against margo's leftovers... even worse

I think the idea that Cotto is a shot fighter or a lesser fighter than he once was is what's got a lot of people jaded.

NOBODY is looking at the style match up whatsoever. If you asked people last December who'd win between Pac and Cotto, everyone would still say Cotto is too big and strong. But be it that he KO'd Hatton the way he did and Cotto had a tough outing against a very tough Joshua Clottey, now all of a sudden the Boxing world is supposed to forget how Cotto got to being one of the top names of the sport? It wasn't just buy being the bull chasing you around the ring.

One thing I've become a custom to with Cotto being I used to really doubt the dude, is he always finds ways to win and turn a fight around. That's a very, very big intangible.

[QUOTE=mathed;6539276]Cotto is sparring with dudes who have losses while Pac is sparring with undefeated guys who have big size advantages over him. I don't really know but I think Pac is going to be countering and slipping and working the body more than anyone has ever seen him do before. There is no way in Haiti that Cotto's sparring mates could emulate the speed that Pac has. I think it will be a competitive fight though regardless, Cotto is a tough, tough guy.

Another thing I've been noticing watching Cotto highlights: he loves the left hook to the body we all know this but when he throws it, he exposes his body to a left from Pac because of the way he digs into it- it looks kind of like a semi body uppercut. I think with Pac's speed, he could beat Cotto to the punch all night with a quick left to the body himself as Cotto winds up for left and then as Cotto reacts, pulling down with the right to cover up from another left body punch, Pac could slip to the left and come down from above with a strong straight left to the face- setting up a 4 punch combo to the face afterwards.

Everyone has a plan until they get HIT....Wishful thinking thou...:boxing:

"His defense is amazing. I would not want to be Pacquiao.." said who??? Abril with 9-3-1 record? You'll never be Pacquiao and that's for sure, and my guess you'll never even reputed as ATG after you retire from boxing, much more to become HOF! Almost you don't have name in boxing if not becoming Cotto's sparring partner! **** your head 3x and you'll realize this!

Pac use his speed and power to bombard Cotto from the opening bell to destroy his will and game plan, before devouring him at 9 round! I think my perception is closer than yours.
