He was 146 in his last fight.
Yeah, except Cotto fulfills his contractual obligations and might even come in at 144 at the weigh in.

Well, I hope Pacquiao is not afraid of Cotto because the nuclear and atomics punches he is going to receive in the fight, he will never going to forget. Experts of boxing, gentlemen which control numbers on each bets, boxing fans I am going to request to keep doing that, because in November 14 I will generate a lot of money when I bet in favor of Cotto. I hope the bet could reach 10-1, so all the money I invested to go to Las Vegas becomes free investment for my trip…hahahahahahahaha. At the end of round 7 you will hear all the commentators saying “Pacquiao is a man with a big heart, but Cotto was too strong for him, I feel so bad for his wife that is crying like a baby” Also you will hear other commentator saying “Cotto demonstrated that he is one of the best fighter of the world, if not the best”. This and that and other comments will be part of all you will be listening on November 14. You will see in the entire boxing website announcing Cotto as the best, then you will see Gayweather saying that Cotto is a good boxer, but he does not want to fight him because Cotto never has challenged in the ring. So one more time for the Pacquiao cheerleaders… hahahahahahahahahahaha. THE DEMOLITION IN BOXING, COTTO DESTROYED PACQUIAO BY KO. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YA-W0 1zhHbM

Towards the end of his run at 140 yes, but not for the first 20-something fights, no. That's NOT common knowledge. That's false.

it really pisses me off when a fighter and his camp handicaps a fighter then later proclaim they are not concerned about the weight.

cotto is a dumb azz for allowing himself to be dic ked at the table!

Cotto will be the bigger guy come fight night, there's no point on arguing about the catchweight.
I like both fighters, may the best man win!

Of course Team Pac is concerned with Cotto's wieght. Listen to Roach's comments on the matter. If Pac is fighting for the Welter title, it shouldn't be at a catchweight.

Like most Cottards would say, Cotto was 146 for Clottey, whats another pound gonna do?

Mayweather Was Smart By Paying The Penalty...

..for the excess weight rather than kill himself by training to loose weight to fight JMM. His tactic worked because it is a non-title fight. Cotto's case is different..His belt is at stakes, he is in to lose big time. His face looks so weak I don't think he can absorb the Pac attack...fight will end within 9 rds.
