um...cutting doesn't always mean harder and leaner. im sure phil has more credibility/experience then anyone on this site. i'm pretty sure he's got it under control. Just cuz Cotto has always looked thick, and hits hard, doesn't mean he has a lot of muscle. Cotto has always been fat, since he was a kid. He got almost ricky hatton fat after his last fight, so he's cutting muscle and fat now. TONS of the fat is gone, and the little muscle he had to begin with is now showing. what's so difficult to understand about that?here's what confuses me about cotto's physique. if anyone knows anything about fitness, cutting produces much harder, leaner physiques. cotto howevever, doesn't look leaner or harder. this leads me to believe that his nutritionist or conditioning coach has no fu!king idea what he's doing. instead of cutting the weight that doesn't matter, fat mass, he is cutting muscle. If he cut correctly, he should still have close to the same muscle mass but looking much more ripped. He wasn't all that ripped (relative to paquiao) at his higher weights, so he should've had plenty of fat to cut from.
