Hbo looking to make junior welterweight tourney?

B*&^talk understands that HBO is strongly considering staging a four man tournament in the junior welterweight division. The names currently being mentioned are undefeated WBC junior welterweight champ Devon Alexander, Marcos Maidaina, Amir Khan and Victor Ortiz. Needless to say there will be more to follow.

whats your opinion of this?...and who do you guys think wins this tournament if it occurs?

It depends on the draw, As long as Khan doesnt get Maidana in the eliminator he should be ok, if not he is going to have difficulties, but its between Khan and Alexander

The reason why Ortiz is over Bradley is cuz Ortiz is promoted by Golden Boy. HBO(Ross Greenburg) bends over backwards for Golden Boy.

I hate to be the one to bring it up but...hatton rocked paulie and jaun...and you would get alot of people to watch hatton try and win or get KTFO....but we also know hatton might be too chinny and done or not elite or whatever....plus he looks for the high dollar bouts...I would watch it though.

I'd love to see the fight between Khan and Paulie. I can't help but delight at how wonderful it would be to see Amir get knocked out buy one of Paulie's feather dusters...

On a serious note, however, that fight would be extraordinarily interesting considering the respective strengths and weaknesses of each fighter. If styles make fights, that'd be a hell of a fight to watch.
