Best Cruiser IMO. Hands down. Extremely underrated and hard nosed. He is a threat to knock out the likes of Toney and Jirov.
Braithwaite would literally die in the ring against him.

i just think that they didn't want to risk getting into the ring with a masterful boxer like gomez

        Braiwthatw
        Mormeck
        Davis

        then you have

O'Neal Bell who always gives you a good fight.
        Dale Brown is always tough.

Just imagine if Toney, Gomez and Jirov had stayed.

I think the Jirov that Toney fought would beat all of the present guys at cruiser...except maybe Braithewaite who can ****.

Gomez never should have fought Diaz...

... Johnny Nelson. That's the name I was looking for.

Oh - Enzo Macranelli... see, our Limeys are producing prospects for this division.

Not sold on Macranelli, seriously doubt his chin at world level. He is also a little too upright but in a division as weak as the crusiers Macranelli`s power makes things interesting!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

Americans, pay attention. If you are at all interested in seeing the next superstar of the sport, try and track down footage of cruiserweight prospect, David Haye.

He sports one defeat by TKO, has a major question mark over his stamina and chin ... and he's also British.

I know hearing that will stop many in their tracks from seeking him out, but trust me, if you see what this guy is capable of (when he's not punching himself out and completely abandoning his plan of attack) you will understand why I have so much faith in him.

Kimmy - You'll live to rue the day you agreed to our bet. I can't wait to deface your signature with my ... filth.

First off Haye gotta earn a title match, i only see him getting a shot aginst the WBO champ Nelson. But Hayefan.....that chin of David haye...its so weak!

There have been some great matches at cruiserweight though. Holyfied Vs. Quawi was a great fight and one of the last fights that went 15 rounds. The video I saw of it was pretty poor quality but it was a total war on par with Holyfield's war agaisnt Bowe. I thought the fight was even, but the judges all gave Holy a clear descision win.

The cruiserweight division is a cool division I think Holyfield Quawi, Toney-Jirov. There has been alot of really great cruiserweight title fights in the not so distant past.

I know, and that may well take quite a while. I read somewhere that a cruiserweight tourney is being organised in this country featuring Mark Hobson, David Haye, Carl Thompson and 2 other fighters who's names I dont recall. Let's assume Haye comes out on top, You then have the much talked about match up between Enzo and Nelson, which will likely have taken place by the time the mentioned tourney has produced a winner.

My bet is that Nelson KO's Enzo and then retires. That's assuming he doesn't get beaten by the mediocre Cantatore, when or if they finally meet.

That leaves Haye either a date with Enzo or whoever Nelson's mandatory might be at the time.

Boom, Haye sets up a launch pad to big name fights. Haye will be underrated by all of the big guns, just as you are doing. They wont know what's hit them until they wake up on the canvas.

It might take more than a year, but I can wait, can you?

Having said all of that, I seriously hope Haye delays his inevitable move up to heavyweight. It's not that I dont think he'll do well there, I'd just rather see him take on the top cruisers first. He's a young guy, and it's the classier thing to do.

Yesss, but if Haye wins a vacant title then the bet void because as your have stated:
If David Haye fights Johnny Nelson, Jean-Marc Mormeck, O'Neil Bell or Wayne Braithwaite and wins by any means, I'll assign Kimmy a signature of my design, to be worn for a month. If he loses by any means, Kimmy will assign me a signature of his design, to be worn for a month's duration.

He has to beat a champion, winning a vacant title against one of those Mexican imports then feed British fighters on won`t count. he has to beat one of the current four champs!
