i like what im hearing. usually cotto never says much but u can tell cotto's pissed by the way hes been disrespected for this fight. not even mexican fans have dissed cotto the way pinoys have. infact just by the warrior he is hes gained many mexican fans who are backing him up in this one. but mostly the way the majority of the boxing community has cotto a 3-1 underdog, all on irrational assumptions; but thats another thread all together. my point is cotto's pissed & ANGRY! & the worst & most dangerous X-factor that a fighter can face in a ring is an angry fighter with a chip on his shoulder. Cotto gonna slaughter manny & its gonna feel great while hes doing it because im gonna think of every single post iv'e read here, pacland, & other boxing sources. i'll say it again, the only ones that wont be surprised by cotto's thrashing of the pacman are the true boxing purist that dont hate on cotto & the true cotto fans that have followed cotto all through his career.....when this fight was first speculated to be done i drooled at the thought of pacman making the mistake of taking the fight. & the cut on the clottey fight was a blessing in disguise because if not for the cut manny would have watched a more dominating cotto & not taken the fight. cotto will get respect by the force, believe that....

Cotto fighting with a chip on his shoulder is not something Team Pacquiao should want. But that's what they're going to get.

The one concern I have is that Miguel is starting to look a little too thin. Hopefully he doesn't overtrain.

This fight will show us of how the speed overcomes the power. Cotto has the puncher chance but we also know Pac has been sparring this junior middleweight who may punch harder than Cotto if not even in the power category. Also don't sleep on Pac's power punches that Cotto may not see it coming (like that one who made Hatton unconscious). All in all this a 50/50 fight.

Keep in mind that Cotto's speed sometimes is underated. He seem to have pretty good jabs and combos against one of the fastest man in the sport, Mosley. Regarding sparring with a JR middle wieght, It would be unfair to compare his power vs Coto because in Sparring they use protective gear and 18 oz glove and they won't have that on fight night. True that Pacmam could surprise with his power. He seems to gain power as he moves up.

No, what he said was a sarcastic statement because of Manny's previous comments that he wanted to fight PBF instead of Cotto and because of all the hype created towards that fight (Pacman-PBF) kind of ignoring that Cotto has a legit chance to beat Manny.

Is it only me or is Cotto talking more trash for this fight compared to past fights?

After people talk so much trash about you and how you are going to lose and how bad you looked in previous fights, how shot you are etc... you are going to get tired of it and start creating your own game. Therefore thats when Cotto comes in with HIS side of talk. Nothing wrong with that, I respect the man for taking so much criticism and still staying on top.
