So in his interview RA stated that Floyd needed to fight guys his own size. When Floyd countered that he faced De La Hoya at 154, RA claimed he needed to fight guys his own size that were younger than him.
Ok, RA, lets do it your way.
The fighters RA requested Floyd to face were primiarily:
Williams
Mosley
Cotto
Now, as we know, Williams fights at 160, and is not Floyd's size, so he can be eliminated according to RA's logic.
Mosley is Floyd's size, but unfortunately, is 38 years old, far older than Floyd.
According to RA's logic, we can eliminate him as well.
That really only leaves Miguel Cotto.
(Sure we could talk about a guy like Berto here, but lets be realistic, he is not ready and not proven)
Now we know Cotto is facing Pac on the 14th of November. And if Cotto loses, it would be foolish for Floyd to fight him, he should fight the guy that proved BETTER than the opponent RA suggested, Manny Pac.
If Cotto wins, Floyd should undeniably fight him.
Essentially, RA's logic used in the interview has Floyd fighting the winner of Pac vs Cotto, something that the majority of fans have been clamoring before since the fight and Mayweathers return have been announced.
Come on my dude...really? You're taking what someone posted on a forum about Hatton (let alone one of the dudes lives in London) and are basing it as the Boxing world believing Hatton was THE guy to beat Floyd??
RA said Floyd needs to fight someone that is his size and not older than him.
True or false.
False.
Again...you're conveniently twisting **** around.
He said Floyd fought an older, bloated JMM who came up to a weight he'd never fought at. Floyd then replies, "Im 32 and he's 36...who cares?"
He also asked Floyd, "Why don't you fight Shane Mosley?" Floyd then asks RA if Mosley is on steroids.
If you'd like me to upload those specific points of the convo back to back I can. The only thing RA was inaccurate with was when Mosley took an L, sue him if he got heated in the argument, because we all know Floyd did.
"Leonard aint better than me because he lost to Camacho" - Floyd
...and we're supposed to believe that too right? LOL

Yeah its obvious floyd didnt handle himself nicely in this interview, he wasnt very eloquent.
But its also quite obvious he's willing to fight cotto or pacman after they get their **** done right?
Atleast thats what he has stated in numerous interviews.
I dont see the whole issue, sure mayweather got pwned in that interview purely because he couldnt stay calm.
But the points made by Ra were just based on hate. He was suggesting all these fighters would destroy floyd, at the same time sucking his ****.
Offcourse its a buisness, looking at this purely from a legacy point of view is ******, ray robinson didnt give a ****, he wanted as much money as possible.
You can watch those documentaries and see.
At the time many haters thought dela was gonna win, or hatton had a very good chance, or baldo was a legitimate threat. But when floyd defeats them they become garbage.. ''common baldomir with like 11 losses'' Well at the time brian kenny was hardcore ****sucking baldomir.
But floyd hasnt lost yet, and he hasnt retired, its time to hate when he chooses to fight hatton next. Not because he defeated a very technical p4p fighter after a 2 year layoff.
