Back than there was also a lot of talk about who floyd should or should not be fighting since a lot of the WW's were coming in at 155 plus fight night and even 165 plus in clotteys case. This water draining stuff is a bit much sometimes but you have to play to the rules and if you make the weight then you make the weight for good or for bad. I never agreed with the idea that other WW's were too big for floyd even though floyd weighted in at 147 too but didnt campaign at 140. It was a very strange situation imo, floyd was a bit of an imbetweener. I hope thats finished with now.

I'm actually excited to see what this current version of Floyd can do. I think everyone else is too, and that's why they are so impatient to see him fight someone else, or commit to fighting someone else.
Im sure he will have to fight the winner of cotto pac

The heat is really on Mayweather right now and i hope he chooses his opponent wisely but then again the hit has alway been on and this is nothing new since 2005 when he beat Gatti, I hope Cotto wins next week so we can see a Mayweather/cotto fight.

Each posed their own problems for Floyd, and by proxy, risks.

                  he just successfully adjusted
They are decent wins but my main beef is that he never took on the most dangerous challenges available to him north of 135.

His junior WW campaign was a complete joke even though it was deep in talent at that time. His best win at that weight was over Arturo Gatti when he could have fought Kostya Tszyu who was rated #2 p4p at that time, Ricky Hatton or Miguel Cotto who were both undefeated and in their physical primes. When Hatton defeated KT, Floyd immediately vacates the division and goes up to WW when there were CLEARLY better challenges at 140. Of course, he ends up facing Hatton a couple of years later making the latter go up in a division he couldn't handle as clearly evidenced by the Collazzo debacle.

He's bypassed the most dangerous challenges at 140 and now he's doing it again at 147. The major players in recent time were Cotto, Williams, Shane and Margarito but who does he end up fighting at WW? Mitchell, Hatton, Judah and Baldomir. It's not even comparable. Full credit for facing DLH at 154, but just how good was that win if you compare a semi-active aging superstar on the decline with superstars in full momentum?

Take his resume and recent opposition and put it next to Pacquiao's, Bernard's heck even Jermain Taylor's and you'll see exactly what's wrong. It's bad enough that he'll cruise in fights he can easily end, but the fact that he's not even facing opposition that the fans truly demand in the first place is where the criticism stems from.

The greatest fighters shock the world. When was the last time Mayweather did that?

How did he started race against this interview??? First off he likes Sugar Shane Mosley and Sugar Robinson.

Why would someone talk back at Manny Pacquiao, if he fought the fighters the fans want to see him fight?? He doesnt care about loses.
