Actually, a lot of Puertoricans (on the island) are picking Manny to win. For some reason they don't like Cotto - well actually is becuase he is not a "people person". I personally think, that once he lost to Margarito, everyone started blamings his life style. So a lot of people abandon him.... is a matter of fact, when I check the Puerto Rican newspapers I'm always amazed on how nasty people are to him on the blogs... is not that they are for Manny as much as they are against Cotto.

I think that for many is better to say he will lose now, in order to crate some distance... those are the worst haters.

As for me... I agree with Tito... People remember the ODH and Hatton fights... and that's a mistake. Come the 14th... Cottos size will play a huge role... combine with his versatility, boxing skills and punching power.... Manny is in for a rough night!

As far as for PRicans piccking Manny, PR are well documented boxing fans in general we like good boxers period. When we see something we like we are not biased in saying this or that guy is a good boxer just because of his ethnicity. My budies and I have fight parties in wich a PRican is fighting someone of another nationality and usually more than one person in the room will pick the other fighter. As a nation we usually support our fighter but we also can recognize good fighter of other nationalities and will support them openly.
