Now they are saying that he gonna be bigger than Cotto and that an un proven Porter is better than Cotto. Neither conditioner or trainer never been on the other side of Cotto, there is some uncertany comming out of that camp.

About the sparring they showed on 24/7 part 2, Team Pacquiao has the right to choose what sparring HBO can show. I mean out of all the sparring, that is what they shown, Porter getting the best of Pac. Where was the clip where Pac dominated Porter.

But come fight time, Pac will get the W over Cotto.

24/7 has a different story line though...hbo got pac's camp chaotic, pac's getting beat. expect that to continue on later episodes. roach/ariza telling all is great. which one to believe?

in the background of that sparring in 24/7, roach's face is ok, he knows it's on camera, not at all looking worried. then next scene, he was lecturing pacman, all caught on tape by 24/7. man, they know how to act. lol.

i would believe more a clip taken by a phone camera than the 24/7 vid.

Magic Jordan, why do not see any bet against Cotto. If you say that Pacquiao will KO Cotto and will retire Cotto have some few thousands of points against Cotto. Let me tell one more time, so people remember very good, Cotto will give a tremendous beat up to Pacquiao, he will retreat for the hard punches until no strength left, follow by mercy TKO by the referee or a vicious KO.

Cotto and Pacquaio only as good as their last fight

A fighter is only as good as his last fight.. Look a Cottos last fight and look at Pacquaios last fight. Aside from the hype the only one viciously knocking people out between the two lately is Pacquaio. Cotto hasn't viciously knocked out any elite fighter.

                  Manny

Not to take anything away from Pacquiao because he is a great fighter; however I still do not understand why fight at a catch up weight. If Manny wants to be the best pound for pound fighter shouldn't he be fighting Cotto at 147lbs. Let’s say that Manny wins the fight against Cotto, is he going to be asking all the other challengers to come down to 145lbs to fight him at welter weight. I don't understand. I think Manny is a great boxer but it makes him look like a puss by asking people to come down in weight just to fight him. As far as I can remember there has been many great boxers who have won different titles at different divisions and actually went up in weight, why can Manny do the same thing?

I don't get why so many people think Manny can KO Cotto? He stopped De La Hoya, but he could have taken the punches Manny was throwing for the full 12, he just quit because he could not "pull the trigger".

Hatton got brutally KOED, but anyone with some sense could see that coming. a shot Juan Lazcano coming up in weight shook Hatton to his core only for an untied Hatton shoe lace saved him!

So all the people that think Pac can KO Cotto, please give me your reasoning behind that thinking. Margarito could not do it, that was down to exhaustion, Mosley could not put a dent in Cotto and he hits with twice the power of Pacman.

I think Manny can win on points, but it will take ALOT of work on his part. I do not think Manny will box and run the whole night, he is a warrior and will want to "throw down" and this in my opinion will be his down fall.

And then we have people talking about Pacman's speed befuddling Cotto. Are any of these people aware of Cotto's previous opponents?? Malignaggi, Judah and Mosley are all super fast fighters, Judah and Malignaggi being just as fast as Pac although does not hit as hard.

To sum up Manny has to move and box on the back foot to stand a chance in this fight. I anticipate Cotto to come forward and seek and destroy like he did with Judah and Malignaggi. Maybe he will come out and let Manny be the agressor and him be a counterpuncher. This strategy could work well too as Manny is a sucker for a straight right hand counter.

I am a fan of both guys, but I think Cotto got this by KO or Ref stoppage between rounds 5-9. I am new here but willing to bet all my points with anyone willing to bet.
