Roach told Pac to look bad and defensive for 24/7. Pac did, but in the end he couldnt hold himself from hitting Porter with his counter left hook, similar punch he trew to Hatton. He just tapped him, didnt use power.

On that gif where PAC is in the corner ducking Porter's left hook and then he moves out of the way by pivoting to his right. I don't understand why fighters in general do this. PAC had Porter out of position and was open for a counter, but all he did was simply back up.

Roach, in one of Title's training vids explained this, "when you've got someone out of position, you've gotta make 'em pay"(I'm paraphrasing). Making a guy miss is just half-a-victory, ain't nothin' free as they say in Muay Thai !!

these sparring clips don't hold much weight imo.

roach allowed this footage to be shown. why would he expose manny's "weakness" to his opponent? and the way they edited that clip made it seems like porter was getting the best of pac. it could be a strategy in roach's camp. trying to make cotto feel like he can overpower pac easy.

i think hbo's trying to make pacquiao seem more vulnerable than he actually is. though i can't think of a reason why they'd do that

He merely tripped no punch landed except the left thrown by Pac and in the top one, all I see is Porter hitting in the back of the head

so Cotto will come in there and slug it out, they want a fight not a chess match...too much money involved

that maybe so. an exciting match could lead to more ppv buys for either fighters in the future.

it wouldn't have meant much, since it is sparring, if he wasn't getting ****d and bullied left and right over and over again. so it doesn't matter if it's sparring or not, you should not be looking that bad specially if you're regarded as one of the best p4p. yet again i expect the cotto-pac fight to look exactly like that but that'd be the actual fight. welterweight will prove to be just too much for little manny.

PAC's greatness will prove to be just too much for that good ole Rican in Cotto.

also notice how shawn is holding and hitting as well as roughing up pacquiao.

it's obvious they're preparing pacquiao for what they expect cotto to do.
did shawn hit pac in the nuts too? they should prepare for that too cuz cotto will obviously use dirty tactics if in trouble.
