    BTW Roxy,

I love your avatar as well. What a great fighter. They don't make them like that anymore.

Toney's defeat of Holyfield was not an impressive victory. Many middleweights and light heavyweights in the sport's history have moved up and fought at heavyweight and beat better guys than a shot Holyfield.

Roy Jones's victory over Ruiz, while still not the historic achievement he claims (he was never the linear champion as he and others on this board have been quoted as saying), was a more impressive feat.
i just know, all know. toney was underdog. if he lost to a guy like toney of course he will lost confidence and will, i would and that would make me weaker and not focus. toney´s victory over holyfield was impressive, holyfield was after a title fight therefor he was trained and focus, he gave his all and didnt hold back anything but toney was better. i dont think ruiz is better than holyfield, and jones victory over ruiz wasent impressive if jones had stay there i think toney will win if they fight again. but we will see, after toney´s next fight.

Holyfield fought a terrific first round against Toney, he dominated Toney, then had a so so 2nd round, a so so 3rd round then Toney battered him. This is the classic indecation of a shot fighter. Holyfield blew himself out in 3 rounds and from that point Toney was fighting a shell. Toney did what he was supposed to do and stop an old tired shot fighter but i won`t credit him with a winof Evander Holyfield. He beat an image of Holyfield, nothing more.

Bar None the most Underrated fighter in boxing. There is proof in that, when certain posters on this site call him "trash" etc. 100% knownothings and complete jackoffs. When he beats Corrales, I suppose they will change their opinions. He is a threat to simply run over everyone at the 140lb division with the exception of Mayweather as well. It is not totally out of the question to think he can beat Kostya Tszyu either.

How he can fight and beat the quality opposition he does, and still not get credit for it......is far beyond me.

People see his losses on his record......and do not know that the are ALL result of a stoppage from a cut.
He might be able to beat a bigger slower Mayweather with controversy this time around.

How can you put Toney anywhere in the underated list. The guy is a chump. I'll put 300,000 points that Ruiz will beat him (I'll put this offer up in betting section pre-fight, maybe I'll get even more points by then).

I think it’s Junior Witter, Valuev, Casamayor, Sturm and Maskaev.

valuev has only beaten bums so far, and maskaev has been knocked out about 5 times, although i do agree that witter may cause an upset soon
