i think out of the heavyweights juan carlos gomez is underrated, i think if he is fully motivated, he has the style to cause a few upsets, he had a bad loss a while back, but he appears to be back on track

Jose Luis Castillo without a doubt.

Bar None the most Underrated fighter in boxing. There is proof in that, when certain posters on this site call him "trash" etc. 100% knownothings and complete jackoffs. When he beats Corrales, I suppose they will change their opinions. He is a threat to simply run over everyone at the 140lb division with the exception of Mayweather as well. It is not totally out of the question to think he can beat Kostya Tszyu either.

How he can fight and beat the quality opposition he does, and still not get credit for it......is far beyond me.

People see his losses on his record......and do not know that the are ALL result of a stoppage from a cut.

well we will see what he does against ruiz, and maybe if he wins that he'll get more credit, beating a shot holyfield proves nothing yet

its me or do everybody always say different about other fighter than tyson?, when holyfield(his prime) ko tyson(over as a boxer) nobody said tyson was out of shape and wasent good anymore.

and holyfield got 100times more credit than toney got when he ko holyfield. a lot said holyfield got right style to beat tyson then its fair if you also say toney got right style to beat holyfield. i think toney with his speed will ko ruiz.

yes but holyfield was 40 years old be fair, tyson was still a young guy when holyfield beat him, and tyson was in good shape, you can't compare, tyson vs holyfield, with holyfield vs toney

Some people might make the case for Toney being "Overrated" Kapersky. He has faced a washed up Holyfield and a soft Booker at heavyweight. People are going so far as to say....."Bring on the Klitschkos". Which is so ridiculous it makes me want to cry. Vitali would do everything except kill Toney if they fought. You would have to "find" pieces of that fat midget laying around the ring in order to "re-construct" him. Bernard Hopkins has a better chance at de-throning the heavyweights if he were to move up. he would destroy James Toney anyways.

if you count years, yep tyson was young. but if you count what he had been throw even before jail, and after jail he was more than 50years. and no tyson wasent in his prime, he looks like a little boy against holyfield so are are holyfield against toney.

holyfield wasent weak in that fight, it was toney he was better. round by round he started to dominated and ko holyfield like holyfield did to tyson.
