He's got what it take talent wise, even if he loses as long as he doesnt take a bad beating he will learn from it and get better.

I rate Ward highly. He's very skilled, intelligent, and has shown the ability to stay focused and on task during a fight thus far (unlike Dirrell).

Right now, I'd rate it as a B+/A- win for Kessler.

Ward is a B+ right now...which is bad news for the basic B Kessler...especially since he's fighting in Ward's hometown.

You're saying that olympic glory automatically propels you to professional excellence? I would think that you might have had a case back in the old days when the scoring was like it is in pros. Still back in those days you had a Howard Davis for every Ray Leonard and a Ray Seales for every Michael Spinks.

What I'm saying is that when you pit a properly groomed, versatile, super quick, former, American Gold Medalist against a standard, 1-2 Euro whose greatest achievement is losing to another overrated Euro and has only fought 3 bums in 3 years since that loss...squandering his prime years...

well its hard to say since we dont really know how good ward is, he might be a future legend or he might be another prospect turn bust. at the end of the super six we will know how good dirrell and ward really are. and kessler for that matter who hasnt really beaten anyone of note yet.

Co-sign everything you said... I've only seen Ward fight a couple times he seemed pretty solid but I can't really give a good opinion... And Kesller is one of the most overrated people on this board cause in my opinion he hasnt really done anything "great" or beaten anyone noteable like you said
