How do you rate Ward.

well its hard to say since we dont really know how good ward is, he might be a future legend or he might be another prospect turn bust. at the end of the super six we will know how good dirrell and ward really are. and kessler for that matter who hasnt really beaten anyone of note yet.

A big win. Ward is talented. Robberies apart of course, for instance I give 0 credit to Froch for the nod he got vs Dirrell because he didn't win that fight. If Kessler does win it's a big win for him. I think Kessler is a good boxer but a little slower. Lets see what happens.

We dont know for sure how well he turns out in the pro ranks. The man hasnt lost a boxing match in over a decade, though.
As a fan of Ward, I think he is the good. We will be finding out very shortly.

He has talent and skill but we can't say in regards to his mental toughness and other intangibles.....we will find out because Kessler is a skilled and powerful fighter.

Andre Ward is the Greatest of ALL time.

I rate him among other greats like Ottke, and Valuev.

I'm holding judgement until he fights someone good.

As i did with Dirrell, whom i now consider a B+ fighter with the potential to be P4P top ten if he fights like he did in the final 2 rounds of the Froch fight.

Not sure. If he get's beaten bad by Kessler, the rating would be based on very little evidence. How you rate his win over Miranda would be key question.
If he get beaten but remains competitive through out the fight, it would still be his best performance.

Because he hasn't done anything yet, Ward would need to beat one of the s6's before he can be considered A class. A win over Kessler would make him instant A+ in my book thoug.

As Ward stands today it's a B at most even considering Kessler is fighting in his backyard. A win might turn out much better if Ward goes on to do great things.
