In contrast, cotto's camp looks great: no distractions, love and support of the family and friends, total focus on training, etc.... also you see cotto's family all the time.

I think that's HBO's storyline for the fight. pac is the irresistible force and cotto is the immovable object. 2 totally different fighters in the ring, in training, and in life.
great observation. I haven't thought about where HBO was going with this storyline yet. Cotto's portrayal is much more personable, more intimate than manny who is playing the role of the superstar who has grown accustommed to a superstar lifestyle.

totally different mentality going into the fight.

cotto's camp is relax and family orientated. you can tell he's a private person.

pac on the other hand is always busy and orientated to be a super star. pac is a public person.

        again, a contrast in personality.

I don't understand how you can have so much hate for a fighter that you need to post the same thing a bunch of times on the first page of a thread and then once more in the second.
Do you know Cotto personally or something?

They are showing that Manny is on another plateau. Cotto is more like everyone else while Manny is inaccessible more distant. Stardom has made him less relatable to the average human being and has molded his personality to suit the change.
