He was just trying to go through the drill if he can tolerate a middleweight punch in the body.
No big deal, Pacquiao always do the same thing when he's preparing for a fight.

Maybe because Cotto's camp can't find someone that is as fast as Pac at welterweight size so they improvise and spar with lighter weight fighters with comparable speed to Pac.

i gotta see this spar!
while reading various posts, it sounds like PAC had more challenge than the hatton fight...
and I dont get it why they are not showing cotto spar? for this 24/7 that's one of the highlights i want to see ...
