If Jones is fighting a tough opponent his own size, why can't Hopkins?

Hopkins just wants a payday which is after a near two year layoff, he returns to fight ROY JONES.
As I explained previously, HBO could not sign the fight, as they did not have their 2010 budget released yet. So the hold up was HBO. Adamek had a great opportunity to fight Golota to make some very good money in Poland, and rather than waiting around for HBO he took it, no one can blame him for taking the fight since that was a huge deal over in Poland. Meanwhile Jones is making a joke of Hopkins and dissing him and fans start saying hopkins is ducking jones and the rest is history.

Either way, Hopkins is fighting Roy Jones next. Joy.

All this talk is gonna be pointless if Dawson doesn't shine against Glen Johnson this weekend. And I think he won't unlike what a lot of people think. Dawson's inability to put exclamation points on his wins combined with the fact that his promoter doesn't make an effort to turn him into a regional draw (until now) is why his fan base is limited to hardcore boxing fans who like his style. I don't like him or his style, but to each their own.Last edited by Adamantium; 11-09-2009, 07:59 AM.

Jones has the courage to go over to Australia to fight a cruiserweight former world titleholder. Hopkins as always stays home to fight a middleweight clubfighter.

Props to ATG Roy Jones for going to Australia to fight a dangerous opponent who's recently been fighting at cruiserweight!
However, Bernard Hopkins is fighting in the US against a middleweight journeyman. :gay:
Why? Why didn't he choose to fight someone who's his own size and as dangerous as Danny Green?
