Depends how he defeats him, if he dominates i think he should be, if not then give it to Floyd. Either way with a win Cotto cant go lower than #2

I think he would deserve to too although a case could be made for Pac retaining it since he stepped up in weight. I don't think Mayweather can retire, fight a blown up Marquez and just take the No.1 spot. Cotto stayed active and would've beaten the current No.1 Pac
