Cotto can show flashes, but he doesn't have a good defense.

He got hit 220+ punches against Mosley, Margarito, and Clottey. More than 200+ power punches by all 3 too. Way too many shots and I have a feeling if Pac hits him that much, he will be going to sleep.

If you say so! Just make sure you don't pound chicanita plaster ***** really hard or it might break.

"The punches that hurt the most are the ones you don't see coming."

Let's forget about Pac having 1 punch leave you unconscious power at 140; let's forget he's been adapting to the higher weights; and let's forget a knockout consists of more than just power (which you probably didn't know, lol).

Pac usually averages 60-80+ punches per round + Cotto eats a lot of power shots + Cotto hasn't looked as good as he did before Margthe same= Pac Ko10

Self ownage... Go do some research.

Round 5: I predict Cotto attempts the rope a dope on very loose ropes and accidentally falls out of the ring, taking in the process a broken knee and unable to stand. At the same exact time, Pacquiao also imitates Ali and tries do the shuffle but trips and somehow falls on his own devastating left hand, knocking him unconscious. Then, after a climactic 10 count because the referee doesn't rule the downs as accidental, we get a draw...

Talk about good defense by Cotto and KO power by Pacquiao

                      Raul Álzaga / Special Envoy

Tampa, Florida. Manny Pacquiao could be fast and aggressive, but it woudl e worthless if he throws and can not find the target.

And is that Miguel Cotto is well refined in his defense and very good with his lateral movements he is avoiding punishment and countering.

From what we saw on Friday in his sparring with lefties kenny Abril and Fred Tukes, Cotto could graduate from bullfighter school against Pacquiao.

Abril, was chasing Cotto around the ring, trying to punish Miguel, while Cotto stayed patient and frequently changing angles. By the time Abril reach out to Cotto, the champ would prescribe a powerful jab or some combination on the side of the body and upper uppercuts.

Without wasting energy by choice, Cotto managed to evade most attacks while sneaked his fists with precision.

"Miguel hits like a truck. At least the gloves are 18 ounces and we have protectio in the face. Still, I feel his punches a lot, "said Abril, of Puerto Rican descent.

"Every time I go to attack, I know that sooner or later I get a severe shock. It makes you think twice before you try to exchange blows in the ropes. I do not want to imagine what will happen to Pacquiao, where eight-ounce gloves shall not be protective. I'm sorry Pacquiao, "said April.

Roach? Get that White towel ready. Pacquiao, better protect those ribs. There is going to be a major upset on 11/14/09
