Is Campas going to fight Hector Camacho the third any time soon or do we have to wait till he needs a cane. Campas had a long career and lots of good wins, he was just never the best in his class, but he can fight Camachos forever, no problem.

I think Campas should call it a day and retire. He was a good boxer and great warrior in the ring.
Camacho Sr could have been one of the very best if he was more disciplined. The word was that the man never trained for a fight.Party animal.
Looks to me like Jr will be just another part time fighter. It's to bad,Camacho Jr has some skills...or had.

The writer of this piece was right man, he hit n held like John Ruiz......aka holding n only punching when not getting a good grip on his bearhug. If he hit n held like Hatton he'd at least be hitting his opponent.

And it's a joke that **** was $24.99, at least if you pay that November 6 you get to see Judah n Casamayor whoop on some bums.

Camacho Jr. is so sad. He avenges his dad's draw (only six months earlier to a guy who fought in the 80's) by squeaking out a split decision. Awesome.

I was there last night and the reason he squeaked out a split decision is because of those 3 points the ref took without even warning him first. Campas acted really good after Camacho hit his hip bone and when the ref took the point he recuperated really fast, he hit after the bell before Camacho did and was never deducted a point and they were both holding a lot resulting in Camacho losing a point. It was a bull**** ref but Camacho had to win because Vargas was there and they talked about fighting here in El Paso even though Vargas looked like he weighs 220 lbs. I am 240 and took a picture with him and we look pretty even.

Camacho Jr. vs Vargas, nowadays two similar discipline fighters they both won't care about making weight. We might be in for a Yokozuna Sumo wrestling type of bout.
