If that's what you believe. Ponder this, isn't interesting that at 140--Cotto was being wobbled by fighters like DeMarcus Corely but at 147--his chin is rock solid. Which weight would you want to stay at if you were Cotto?

You're basically suggesting fighters can go to certain weights --where their abilities may be comprimised --because their frames could handle it.

It's their body's ability to function at an optimum level for an elite fighter.

when a person says a guy is natural at a weight it's basically an opinion on what weight division he seems best suited for or best at.

in the old days if you walk around at 155 , you're a natural middleweight because that's the size of most fighters in the middleweight division.

in modern boxing guys walk around 10 , 15 , 20 lbs. or even more than the weight they fight at.



i have no problem with someone calling pacquiao a natural 130 or 126 or even 122 guy. pac might have added a lot of weight but his built is that of someone in those divisions.

if you look around the guys at 135-140 , pac has a smaller frame and shorter than a lot of the guys there.

look at all the guys at 135 , 140 and 147. the majority of those guys have far bigger frames and taller than pacquiao.
