130 and 135, floyd dominated 130, without a doubt he was the best champion at that weight when he was there and his victory against castillo, weather you think he won or lost, was solidified when he handily won the rematch.
4 belts to a division regardless, at 130 and 135 there were no other threats to him which is why he moved up. 140 was a mess where nobody fought anybody and thats, oddly enough, had alot to do with the champions (cotto/hatton) unwillingness to fight mayweather.
regardless of what happened at far as baldomir, he was the undisputed champ, mayweather was accused of ducking him and he fought him.
regardless of what youd like to say, hes a 5 time title holder and 3 time undisputed.Comment

I highly doubt he would talk like that~Comment

This has nothing to do with RA being relevant. The point is that he stepped up and told ***** Boy Floyd what no one else had the balls to tell him.RA makes a very good living and has a nice following in the underground rap community.Who gives a nobody like you the right to criticize RA?Obviously the guys on Shade 45 respect RA for having him on their show.Last edited by lennie paz; 10-31-2009, 12:03 PM.Comment

Floyd isn't a 40 year old fighter who's seen his best days behind him. He's at his pinnacle and THIS is when he's supposed to make his mark on the sport against the very best. Sugar Ray Leonard's win over Benitez put him over the top capturing the WW belt. But what MADE Sugar Ray was the fights he had after with Duran, Hearns, and Hagler..DEFINING FIGHTS. Floyd hasn't had that type of fight at this point of his career which is when it counts the most. Nobody in Boxing can deny that and a lot of the skeptics make mention of it with a slight tongue in cheek about Floyd taking on "certain" fights and not the real challenges. There's no reason why a Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather fight shouldn't happen right now.
Ironically, I've probably been a fan of Floyd's longer than most on here were even watching Boxing to begin with, but I also don't feed into his bull**** which a lot of his fans I've noticed do by repeating every little thing he says which more times than none has no real relevance (as this audio also proved).
And yet somehow this rapper gets love like he accomplished something? What did he accomplish? Any shining moments or points he might have had were tarnished by all his contradictions and lack of boxing knowledge, his higher volume mic and crony yes men, and his obvious punchline mentality.
I agree Floyd should fight good fights. I thought I made that implicitly clear before. You clearly expect him to be G.O.A.T or top 5 ATG.. I don't. It will be nice if it happens, but I'm not going to hold it against Floyd if he doesn't reach that pinnacle you want him too. He still fights good fights. And he WILL fight more good fights if y'all will shut the **** up and wait a minute. damn.Comment
