dream on till the 14th and watch it shatter.

I've asked myself that same question for the past year or so. Everytime you seem him train, it appears as if he's not doing much. I've come to realize that he doesn't want anybody from the outside to watch him really train. I think he feels he'd be giving away his secrets...I don't know...more power to him.

he dealt with shane mosley just fine...

a well timed jab can disrupt a fast fighter.

Shane never moved, of course a well timed jab can disrupt fast hands if the target is stationary.

cotto isn't a fighter who concentrates on explosive power or handspeed, rather he relies on angles and good timing. besides cotto never really trains with intensity or energy because of the low food intake and the difficulties he has in making weight.

i say this in almost every cotto thread but i think landman deserves alot of credit for the work hes done with cotto. he looks to be filling out into the 147 frame and adding good lean muscle mass.

if cotto makes it out of rnd 3 without any major hiccups i think he wins the fight via TKO before the 9th

you have to realize that although shane got fast hands, he didn't have much lateral and body movements during his fight with cotto (a prime shane would have been different though). he just stayed in front of cotto all throughout the 12 rds. in fact it was cotto who used ring movements especially in the latter rounds and shane was chasing him.

Pac looked a bit more ripped, but Cotto looks naturally bigger.

your wrong. Re-watch the fight, Shane try to give movement around the 4th or 5th round if I remember correctly and Cotto just looked better by chasing him and landing his jabs and powershots.

Pac will be in for a long night.
